Historical Background

It began with a dream at a time when India was known as the hub for handloom textiles. As a vision in the mind of founder late Mr. V.A. Venugopal way back in the 1970. The vision was to grow, to flourish beyond national frontiers by offering products of excellence in markets that demand high quality.

Ever since then has been no looking back for Anupam Textiles, a company which had its roots firmly entrenched in manufacture of quality textiles, before establishing its presence as a garment exporter.

Anupam Textiles stands proud as one the finest examples of a family managed organisation, it is an organisation which has been inherited from a father to a son and now passed on to the next generation. The management proudly call themselves as inherited entrepreneurs.


Mr.V. Premnath, President of the company, who began his career at the age of 16 is an industry veteran with uncanny insight and unmatched experience, which has taken the company's growth to new heights. Mr. Premnath exercises direct control over finance operations.

Mr. Purshottam Premnath, CEO of the company who is third generation in the business. He has been part of the industry from the age of 18. He controls Marketing, Management and Order Execution.

The company is committed to quality and all the production facilities follow strict compliance with the norms set by major clients. In terms of TQM, the company adheres to AQL LEVEL of 4 pts systems for fabrics and AQL LEVEL 2.5 & 4 pts levels for garments.
